The lion is the king of beasts.
The forest kingdom’s his.
He’s not the biggest nor the strongest.
But, because he thinks he is.
His roar is loud and mighty.
The others know he stands apart.
He won’t shrink from the battle.
For he has a lion’s heart.
But a lamb is very different.
He’s not fierce nor has he might.
He knows the shepherd is his strength.
The battle’s his to fight.
He lives his life in harmony.
A member of the flock.
He trusts the shepherd for provision.
So in joy and peace he walks.
If a man can walk in meekness,
He’s shown the greatest growth.
He’s not a lion nor a lamb.
But the very best of both.
