I thought, how can I love my wife
As Jesus loves the church?
So, I got out my Bible,
And I began my search.
He loves her with the wisdom
God gives Him from above.
The only thing that He commands,
Is for our hearts to love.
He doesn’t come to judge her.
His words do not condemn.
She needn’t beg Him for His help.
But only touch His hem.
He longs to cover as with wings.
And spread His love and grace.
But then, she’ll reach for other things.
And tears run down His face.
He loves her unconditional.
And even at her worst,
He laid His life down willingly,
To save her from her curse.
