Meet Christian Poet KAPoe

Hello, siblings in Christ,

I’m KAPoe. I’ve been writing Christian poetry since 2003, and I have four books on Amazon. In my darker days, I never had any interest in poetry in my life. When I got saved, God began to put poetry in my heart. So I wrote it down on paper. I didn’t know my Bible yet, so I asked others if what I had written was biblically sound.

To my amazement, they all said yes. So I thought, “This must be from God.”

I’ve continued to write down whatever I thought He was putting in my heart to this day. I’ve written more than seven hundred poems to date. I asked God to give me wisdom to use this gift. I don’t want to plant bad seeds.

Since then, I have received two different four-year scholarships. I attended courses in chaplaincy. I was a leader in Celebrate recovery for nine years. My wife and I ran a prison ministry out of our home for three years. I write under a pen name because my sweet wife would rather not have prior inmates knocking in our door.

My poetry is non-denominational. Most of them are mini testimonies.

I’m kind of a computer caveman. So please have patience as I slowly morph into a blogger. I’m going to try to keep up with posting a poem every day. I hope and pray that they will speak to your heart in the same way that many others have told me it did to theirs.
