The strongest man who ever lived,
Was good and kind and meek.
He fed the hungry, healed the lame,
And made the dumb to speak.
He carried weight none other can.
And no one ever will.
He bore the load of every sin,
And those we’re making still.
Even Samson didn’t have
The strength this Man has shown.
He couldn’t bear all earthly sin.
He couldn’t bear his own.
When Simon carried the cross that day,
A hefty weight he bore.
But Jesus carried to the cross,
A weight that’s so much more.
