Having faith is having peace,
Amidst the darkest storms.
Though wind may blow and waves may crash,
Inside the heart it’s warm.
We have much faith when all is well.
But trials put faith to test.
When we trust God where danger lurks,
Such faith, our God loves best.
When our enemies mount against us.
Or we’re thrown under the bus,
Sometimes great faith in times like this,
Seems just ridiculous.
Though our faith won’t end all trials,
We must believe it’s true.
The strong and loving arms of God
Will carry our hearts through.
When the locusts eat our every crop,
Our faith must still be bold.
If we’ll raise our hands and hearts to God,
He’ll restore one hundred fold.
